William Bajzek
Classical Guitarist
While working as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, I studied classical guitar at DeAnza College, performed in masterclasses with many fine guitarists from around the world, and gigged regularly. After moving to Skagit Valley in 2009, I gave solo and duo house concerts and recitals with my wife, pianist Angeline LeLeux-Bajzek, as well as performing as a duo with another local guitarist.
Later, we relocated to Tulsa, OK, for family reasons. During this time, I taught a few students and occasionally performed duo concerts with Angeline, but my primary focus returned to my day job as a software engineer, manager, and mentor.
Now, back in beautiful Anacortes, I am enjoying dedicating my time to classical guitar practice, composition, and arrangements. When not playing guitar, you can find me hiking in Washington Park, playing traditional Irish dance music on wooden flute at local sessions, or rowing with O.A.R.S.
